Double Bed Room
This is a double-bedded room on the top floor, en suite with basin, shower and w.c. The room has a window seat where you can put your feet up, settle with a cuppa, a good book and occasional interruptions to look up at a relaxing view across our neighbour’s field and down to the sea breaking on the Grebe rocks.
A hundred years ago, this was the cook’s room with the housemaids in the room next-door. I wonder if she could catch the gossip and giggles that came through the wall as the girls thought back on their day.
